Here at Morningside Recovery, we are thrilled to announce that we have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Behavioral Health Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an our commitment to providing safe and effective care for all patients.
As part of the process, we underwent a rigorous onsite survey in March of 2018. During the review, compliance with behavioral health care standards related to several areas, including care, treatment, and services; environment of care; leadership; and screening procedures for the early detection of imminent harm was evaluated. Onsite observations and interviews also were conducted.
As we continue to expand or programs with things like Couples Treatment, Jewish faith based recovery programming, and Evening IOP programming, it is extremely important to us to have checks and balances in place with organizations like the JCAHO accreditation board to ensure our clients receive top-tier behavioral health treatment. Our client-centered treatment approach ensures that each client receives a treatment experience that is unique to them. The Joint Commission is here to serve as a resource for patients so they know that when they choose Morningside, they really are choosing the best of the best.
