IOP IS ESSENTIAL IN ADDRESSING THE CHRONIC NATURE ADDICTION
Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) is essential in effectively treating the chronic nature of substance or alcohol addiction. A 30, 60 or 90 day length of stay in a residential treatment setting is helpful to get patients physically and mentally prepared for living a life of recovery, but too many rely on the residential stay as the only therapeutic treatment they receive.
IOP serves as both a step-down level of care for those completing a residential stay as well as an alternative to residential treatment for patients who may not be a clinical fit for that level of care.
Most IOP programs are between 3-5 days a week and an average of 2-4 hours a day.
This scheduling creates a barrier for many people seeking out care at the IOP level. When this programming is only offered during business hours, the schedule does not allow them to work, go to school, or fulfill commitments outside of receiving treatment. In a perfect world, patients would not have to work or juggle responsibilities while seeking out medical care to treat addiction; however, this is not realistic for a great majority of people.
AN EVENING IOP OPTION AT OUR IRVINE CLINICAL CAMPUS
To help address the lack of flexible IOP addiction treatment care, Morningside Recovery is proud to be launching an Orange County evening IOP! With the working professional and full-time parent in mind, the evening IOP will allow us to provide access to quality addiction treatment to more people than ever before. At nine hours a week, our patients will receive top-tier addiction treatment care including evidence based therapies, holistic care and non-12step treatment options at our Irvine Clinical Campus in Orange County.
Our state-of-the-art facility at our Irvine Clinical Campus houses a full gym, yoga studio, art therapy gallery and client lounge. Space is limited to ensure each patient receives the individualized care they deserve.
We believe whole heartedly in tailoring unique treatment programming to each patient. It is why we offer a variety of different spiritual tracks and even vocational or educational tracks. No two patients are the same, and the more individualized we can make the programming, the better success our clients are likely to have. We can’t wait to help more clients work to make better choices every day!
