Morningside Recovery Expands and Hires Successful, Passionate Recovery Advocate, Kristina Steele
Morningside Recovery, a family-owned and operated addiction and mental health treatment facility in Orange County CA., is proud to welcome a new member to the Morningside family: Kristina Steele, a new force on the Business Development team. We hope that as Morningside Recovery expands, we can strive to even greater heights of providing care for our clients.
With several years of experience on her belt, Steele brings a valuable inner-working knowledge of the field of recovery to the table. In her new role with the Business Development team, Steele will be taking charge of community outreach, fostering connections with industry professionals and facilitating Morningside’s presence at leading recovery conferences across the country. Along with this, Steele will build and maintain meaningful relationships with other recovery facilities, non-profits and organizations.
In previous years, Steele has worked with several recovery facilities across Southern California, making her mark within the industry. Throughout her endeavors, she has led many successful Business Development initiatives. She is highly-skilled in public speaking, crisis intervention and community outreach. Along with her work with recovery centers, Steele is also a member of the Board of Directors for 10,000 Beds, a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to providing scholarship beds to qualifying individuals who are seeking help for addiction.
Along with her ample success within the field, Steele also holds a deep, personal passion for addiction recovery. In long-term recovery herself, Steele has been addiction free for 11 years.
After she achieved her own recovery, she decided to dedicate her life to helping others who struggle with addiction.
“I love that we have the ability to watch people transform their lives through the treatment center,” Steele says, “every day, it is an honor and privilege to do this work.”
Aside from her work within recovery, Steele is passionate about advocacy, participates in legislative work and is the proud owner of two dogs and two cats.
The Morningside Recovery team is excited to see what the future holds as Steele joins us with vast experience, deep passion, and infectious positivity.
