What Is an Admissions Coordinator?
An admissions coordinator is the first person a client meets when they express interest in a treatment facility. Upon intake, the admissions coordinator provides the client with the information they need about the facility. They’ll help them determine if the facility’s a good fit for them. An admissions coordinator will also help the client determine if their insurance covers the cost of treatment.
At Morninside Recovery, the admissions coordinators are an essential part of the team. They are the first people to greet the clients and help them take their first steps on the path to recovery. The rest of the facility relies on them creating a warm, welcoming, comforting, and supportive environment for incoming clients.
