Arriving early in Boulder City, NV, our group decided to do an 8 mile round trip hike along the old railway that linked Boulder City to the Hoover dam.
We arrived early to the mountain and decided to try out snow tubing at a local resort before we headed off to our afternoon adventure.
We got into Mammoth Lakes mid-day and started our 10 mile hike through the foothills, trudging through ankle deep snow, frozen creek beds, fallen logs.
After meeting with our rafting guides and going through the safety orientation, we boarded the blue pontoon boats and set out on the Colorado River.
