| CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY COUNSELOR | Residential Day Treatment |
| Job Description | Typical counselor duties, including family contact, one-on-one sessions with clients, group counseling, and family counseling. |
| Education | Chemical Dependency Certificate/State Licensure and Bachelor's Degree required. Master's and/or Ph.D. Degree preferred. |
| Licensure | C.P.R. certification or completed within 90 days of hire. Current California driver's license. |
| Experience | Three years as a counselor in an accredited C.D. program preferred. Knowledge of JCAHO accreditation standards and knowledge of a12-step program. |
| Competencies | Group facilitation and ability to read/write in English language required. Computer typing skills with flexibility to use various software is preferred. |
| Hours | Normally days. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays may be required. |
| HOUSE MANAGER | Residential Day Treatment |
| Job Description | Live with clients in one of our houses. Driving involved. Administer drug and UA testing to clients. Conduct weekly house meetings. |
| Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
| Licensure | C.P.R. certification or completed within 90 days of hire. Current California driver's license. |
| Experience | None |
| Competencies | Knowledge of the 12 step program and one year of sobriety preferred. |
| Hours | Position requires living with residents and specific hours are determined individually. |
| CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TECHNICIAN | Residential Day Treatment |
| Job Description | Driving clients in van to various appointments, the counseling center, and activities. Also includes daily sweeps of houses, administering UA's to clients, testing clients for alcohol, and some administrative duties. |
| Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
| Licensure | C.P.R. certification or completed within 90 days of hire. Valid CA driver's license. All non-residents must show proof of a valid driver's license from the state in which they are primary residents. |
| Experience | One or more years work experience in a C.D. treatment program preferred. |
| Competencies | Ability to read/write/speak in English language. Computer typing skills, with flexibility to use various software programs required. Knowledge of a 12-step program. Organization and time management skills. |
