In her more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry, Becky Flood has demonstrated expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation. As Vice President of Treatment Services for Seabrook House in Seabrook, New Jersey, she oversaw the organization's residential treatment programs and the planning of specialized treatment for women, adolescents, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. As Executive Director/CEO of New Directions for Women since 2004, she turned her expertise exclusively to issues relating to women and women with dependent children suffering from alcohol or drug dependencies. As CEO of Morningside Recovery, Ms. Flood will focus her efforts on providing them with administrative leadership and ensuring the quality of service for their co-occurring and academic population. Ms. Flood earned her Masters degree in Human Services from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, is a Nationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (NCAC II), and is a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC). Ms. Flood sits on the board of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and is the President of the Association of Intervention Specialists.

With 32 years of experience in the addiction treatment field, Mark's many years of experience has provided him with a broad base of senior management, clinical leadership, program design, and business development skills.  Prior to Morningside Recovery, he was the Executive Director for Michael’s House Treatment Center for Men, located in Palm Springs, California.  Before his position at Michael’s House, Mark was Vice President of The Betty Ford Center, where his achievements included planning, design, and implementation of their Professional Recovery Program.  While with The Betty Ford Center, he served as both Clinical Director and Vice Chairman of the medical and professional staff.  He also served as the Director of the Sunrise Center at Pomerado Hospital in Poway, California, a program which was designed in consultation with Hazelden in Center City, Minnesota.  Other accomplishments include organizing, designing, and licensing Springbook Northwest in Newberg, Oregon, developing the outpatient program at Eisenhower Medical Center/Betty Ford Center, and coordinating the nursing certification program for chemical dependency at the University of California, San Diego.  Mark has been a frequent guest speaker and has appeared on national television programs including Good Morning America and ESPN.  Mark holds the distinct honor of being selected four consecutive years to serve on the American Bar Association Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs.  He was personally trained in crisis intervention by the late Vernon Johnson, founder of the Johnson Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has officiated hundreds of interventions over the years.  Mark earned his BA and MA in behavioral science from National University in San Diego.  He is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Chemical Dependency Certification Program.  Additionally, Mark has been an active member of the American College of Addiction Treatment Administration.
